Hey everyone it's Mike. I just finished my first day at church and it was good. It wasn't Grace though. How I missed our worship at Grace this morning. I preached about why I think God has brought us here and what this time is all about. I think they record the sermons and put them on the web site, vallecitochurch.org. The church really responded during the invitation and I believe God has some big things in store for us here. I still miss you all very much and wish that we could have brought all of you Grace folks with us out here. Continue to pray for us as we try to discover ways to reach out to this valley and the area around here with the gospel. The place here is physically beautiful but spiritually empty. I will write more later. I love you all.

BOY I AM SURE JEALOUS THEY GOT TO HEAR YOUR SERMON AND I DID NOT. HA HA (WELL MAYBE I DON'T MEAN THE HA HA) I AM HAPPY IT WENT WELL.
YOU WOULD BE SO PROUD OF YOUR CHURCH FAMILY. I THINK KNOW SOME OF THE SEEDS AND TEACHINGS YOU WERER TRYING TO GET US TO UNDERSTAND ARE BEING UNDERSTOOD. YOUR WORK HERE IS STILL BEING REVEALED. WE ALL MISS YOU SO, BUT ARE GETTING ACTIVE AND BUSY TO EASE THE PAIN. (NOT SAYING THIS TO MAKE YOU SAD, JUST TO LET YOU KNOW, YOU WILL BE FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS) CHRIST BODY THE CHURCH HAS COME TOGETHER IN SO MANY WAYS. FEEDING THE MURPHRY'S, FEEDING GLENN'S FAMILY AFTER CHURCH, HARVEST CARNIVAL, AND A FEW OF OUR PRAISE TEAM TOUR DOWN THE CURTAINS IN THE BACK AND WE PAINTED ALL THAT AREA BLACK. IT LOOKS AWESOME. HOPE TO DO MORE SOON. OUR SMALL GROUP AND THE YOUTH WENT TO SUPPORT JACOB JETTON AT THE RALLEY ETHA HAD. JACOB SANG AND RICK BURGESS SPOKE IS WAS GREAT. BROTHER JACK DID A GREAT JOB, WE ALL PARTOOK IN COMMUNION. HELPING US TO PREPARE IN THE LOOK FOR A PASTOR. (OF COURSE IT WASN'T YOU).
OH YEA, I WANTED TO THANK YOU FOR DOING THAT FOR GLENN. GARY DID A GREAT JOB, EVEN THOUGH AFTER LOOKING AT THE PAPER, HE LEFT OUT A LOT. REMINDED ME OF CHIAGO(?) JUST KIDDING. NAH, IT WAS GREAT. THE ENTIRE CEREMONY WAS BEAUTIFUL. EVERYTHING WENT GREAT.
BECKY CALLED ME AND SAID THE CHURCH WOULD LIKE TO FEED GLENN'S FAMILY AFTER THE FUNERAL. MIKE WAS OVER WHELMED BY THE OUT POUR OF LOVE AND KINDNESS THAT WAS SHOWN BY GRACE. YOU KNOW MIKE AND I, WE PRETTY MUCH STICK TO OURSELVES. OF COURSE WE WERE ALOT WORSE UNTIL GRACE CAME INTO OUR LIVES. WE ARE NOT THE TYPE TO LET OR HAVE PEOPLE HELP US. WE ARE PRETTY GOOD AT GIVING BUT HAVE A HARD TIME WITH RECIEVING. SO THIS WAS AN AWSEOME FEELING TO HAVE OUR CHURCH FAMILY SHOW US LOVE IN AWAY WE HAD NEVER EXPERIENCED. THEY WERE AWESOME. WE HAD ABOUT 40 TO 50 PEOLE THAT ATE. (GLENN HAD 9 BROTHER AND SISTERS.) THERE WAS MORE THAN ENOUGH FOOD. I WAS OVER WHELMED, I NEVER HAD PEOPLE TAKE CARE OF ME LIKE THAT BEFORE. I THANK YOU FOR TEACHING US TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER.
